My Story

Hi, I’m Danny, and cruises are my favorite obsession.

A cruise consultant who has actually sailed. Not just read the brochure.

My Story

From a Stanley Park daydream to a dozen cruises

Growing up in Vancouver, I would often see cruise ships sailing past Stanley Park and wonder what it would be like to be on one of them.

After university, a group of friends and I booked our first cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. That trip turned cruising from something I was curious about into something I genuinely loved.

Since then, cruises have become a pretty big part of my life. Anyone who knows me knows how much I like them. I cruise whenever I get the chance, I’m always keeping up with new ships and itineraries, and I’m usually the person friends or coworkers come to when they’re thinking about trying a cruise.

Over the years, I’ve brought friends, coworkers, and family members along on trips, helped people choose their first cruise, compared ships and cabins with them, and answered more cruise questions than I can count. What started as something I loved doing for myself naturally became something I loved sharing with other people.

I’ve now sailed with Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Celebrity, Virgin Voyages, and Princess, across the Caribbean, the Pacific Coast, Mexico, and Europe. Every trip has given me a better understanding of how different cruise lines and ships can be, and how important it is to match someone with the right experience rather than simply recommend the cruise I would choose for myself.

At some point, helping people with cruises stopped feeling like something I was just doing for friends and became something I wanted to do for more people.

Now I get to do what I love: matching people with the right ship, cabin, and season, handling the details, and helping them chase that same feeling I had watching those ships pass by Stanley Park.

How I Work

What working with me actually looks like

Less about titles, more about how I actually spend my time on your booking.

I chase deals for you

Finding a better rate is genuinely one of my favorite parts of this job, not a chore. If a promotion drops, a cabin category opens up, or a line runs a sale that isn't widely advertised, I'm watching for it.

Detail-oriented, to a fault

Cabin category, deck location, embarkation logistics, dining times that actually fit your schedule. I go through the small stuff so you don't end up surprised by it on day one.

I keep watching after you book

Booking isn't the finish line. I keep an eye on pricing for your sailing afterward, and if a lower fare or a free upgrade becomes available, I'll flag it so you can take advantage.

No question is off-limits

First cruise or twentieth, ask me anything, gratuities, seasickness, what to pack, how dining reservations actually work. I'll do my best to help.
